DRIVER SAFETY

Since 2003, Brian has been one of the most trusted driving instructors in Anchorage, AK. Always looking for ways to bring the best in driver training and winter driving to his students, Brian brought the SKIDCAR training to the civilian market in 2015. This is the first driver training school to offer such an expert level of training in Alaska.

SKIDCAR training has been the gold standard in law enforcement training for over 25 years. Dane Pitaressi, the founder of SKIDCAR System USA Inc., won the coveted Z-man award for his role in helping law enforcement realize unprecedented levels of officer driving safety.

In 2007, the Anchorage Police Department implemented SKIDCAR training and realized a 59% reduction in officer crashes.

Now this same training is available to you, the civilian driver. No matter what level of experience you have, we are confident that a SKIDCAR lesson will truly benefit you.

We are committed to delivering the highest quality training with the most current information regarding traffic laws, driver safety and vehicle technology. In fact, our SKIDCAR program can actually help you understand what Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control and Anti-lock Brakes do for you. And it can be done with absolute safety! Professional Instructors:

Our instructors have the highest level of training available for a civilian driving school. Each instructor has been certified by SKIDCAR System Inc., the same agency that is responsible for certifying the SKIDCAR instructors for the Anchorage Police Department and Alaska State Troopers.

Brian, our lead instructor, has been teaching drivers of all experience levels from novice to experienced drivers. He has been teaching defensive driving techniques since 2003. His experience ranges from teaching teens to teaching adults in corporate classes such as Alaska Railroad, Exxon and Conoco Phillips.

Modern classroom:

Come visit us at our classroom. We designed our classroom with the students needs as our highest priority. With comfortable seating and seminar tables custom built for the classroom, students will be able to focus on the training course. We chose to locate our office in an area that we would be comfortable sending our family, and we believe you will, too.
Our office is located at 4000 W Dimond Blvd Unit 220 (at the intersection of Dimond Blvd and Jewel Lake Rd in the Carrs shopping center). We are at the far end of the shopping center, between Denali Alaska Credit Union and Denali Commercial Management.
